I’ve been exploring Portland Oregon, keeping busy and very well fed, but as much as I fancy myself an independent woman on an adventure, I wish my husband was here to explore all of this with me. He wouldn’t like the hipsters, he’d order the safest thing on the menus, but I enjoy the lens through which he perceives things. Sometimes it’s a very different lens than mine, but it’s always entertaining.
Best thing about being married – having someone with whom to experience this wide wonderful crazy awesome world. However, this only works when you’re actually traveling with your spouse.
I’m glad to be getting home tomorrow. Second best thing about being married: telling your spouse about all the crazy hi-jinks he missed and seeing his reaction.
