Cat gave me this idea when we had tea the other day – making a box to hold gifts that are in the form of check-heavy envelopes. Sometimes guests skip the registry altogether and opt for cash & check. I support that plan. And, I made a really pretty box for it out of World Market wrapping paper, ribbon from Michaels (that matches the bridesmaids dresses), and a Be-Jeweler borrowed from my future Mother-in-Law. This is the result, in all its Gaudy Glory. The aunts will probably hate it.
And, using the highly toxic cancer-causing E6000 glue, I made my wedding shoes Paisley Perfect. Seriously, use this glue outside only.

SO pretty! Both of them!! Love the bejeweling!
Love the card box – what awesome bright colours, I LOVE bright colours, especially at weddings!
Looking good!
Yay, I’m so glad we don’t have to wait much longer to see everything come together. I’m excited!
What fabulous projects! The shoes are so perfectly understated, and that card box is amazing!
Your shoes look amazing! If you started making and selling shoes like that I would definitely buy them.
Thanks Jen! It’s nice to have a little twinkle on my toes.
WOW!! Fantastic results!!!!
I agree Dogma! They couldn’t be more perfect! The Paisleys were meant to be there.
Love them both! That card box is beautiful, and will completely stand out (in the right way), and those shoes are awesome! Love that you made them totally you!
